About Matus

Matus Belanec, a 28-year-old Tennis Professional from Piestany, Slovakia, excelled as a Top 10 junior player and earned a bronze medal at the European team championships representing the National Team U14.

Contributing to 3rd League teams in Germany and playing in an extraliga men’s team with former ATP No. 44 Lukas Lacko, Matus brings extensive playing experience. In his 9+ years of coaching, he focuses on maximizing player potential through technique analysis, footwork refinement, and strategic game tactics.

From 2020 to 2023, he served as an professional tennis coach, gaining insights of WTA/ITF level on women’s 15k and 25k tournaments across Europe, Morocco, and Turkey. In 2023, Matus became the Tennis Professional for LUX Tennis at the Amanjena Resort in Marrakech and is currently offering his tennis expertise in the role of tennis professional at Grace Bay Club.

• He enjoys Swimming and spending time with animals especially dogs
• His face gets red as a tomato when he gets shy or can’t articulate his thoughts, His sister who is a figure skating coach in Switzerland and is totally opposite to him, they are like ice and heat.
